There has been a disturbing trend of people walking in the one and only roadway in and out of our neighborhood. I am very concerned that someone is will be struck by a vehicle at some point. What is our POA going to do about getting walking pedestrians out of the roadway?
Can a walking pathway be cleared and install some decomposed granite on that pathway so we can all walk up and down Antelope Meadows safely?

We've always just walked off to the side in the dirt or grassy area, plenty of room there. Most residents keep that mowed, I know I do, mainly for fire reasons. Last thing I'd want to see there is some sort of rock laid down, then I won't be able to mow it, and I'm not going to spray it. I have enough to spray already. LOL So it would turn into waste high weeds at that point.
I've always been cautious around the pedestrians back here and give plenty of room as I think most do, but there are always a few that drive like idiots. Keep your eyes peeled and be careful.

Well I’m more talking about people and their animals in the middle of the road that refuse to step to the side so you can drive by. Appreciate that you don’t walk in the roadway.

Oh okay, I know what you mean. I've come across plenty that don't seem to understand that concept. Pretty sure there is still a law called jay walking, lol. Not sure why people are afraid to walk in the dirt or grassy area, plenty of room there. I personally am more afraid of the cars. What makes that worse are the ones that apparently weren't taught to walk facing traffic. That was all basic drivers ed 101 stuff, bikes go with the flow of traffic and pedestrians walk facing traffic. I still see more than a few that just walk in the street with their backs towards oncoming cars. Not too bright. But, that's how people are this day and age. I've seen more and more of that type of behavior as years go by.
