Does anyone know what in the world is going on in Pronghorn that is causing us all to drive through a dirt/mud road to access our neighborhood? They’ve been working on that area for months and months! Is anyone calling the town or developer and complaining? Is our POA aware of this and doing anything to encourage these incompetent contractors to speed up the work. Squeaky wheel gets the grease folks! Let’s start making some noise or this will go on for 3-4 more months!

Kenny You must be new here. This is the third time in about 7 years that they have torn it up. Happens with each phase of Pronghorn Ranch. Just go with the flow. From what I understand, our road was all dirt until 2011 or 2012. It will get done when it gets done. Too many more important things going on in the world to get so upset about a dirt road.

Thanks for the insight Linda. I've seen no mention from the construction area or from our HOA of a completion date. At least the last 2 times this happened our HOA was giving us weekly updates via emails. And I can't help but think that our HOA's persistence the previous 2 times, along with contacting them on numerous occasions to have them get out there and grade the road when it was in horrible shape, may have sped up the completion.
I'm with Ken. It's been entirely too long this time. They tore this up September 14th with no warning. Would help those of us with classic cars to have had a heads up, it left me stuck outside the neighborhood waiting for a trailer when the road was complete mush. It's now February and it still doesn't look close to done. Would be nice to not have to put up with the impatient assholes that pass on the left running over cones just because some of us try to take care of our cars. That certainly doesn't help the situation.
And yes, I lived here when the entire road was dirt, almost didn't buy the house. Left the cars in the garage for years until something was finally done to finish it, with a big thanks to Mark for that who was on the road committee at that time.
